Dear Friend,
If you are concerned about the looming danger of bird flu and the
preparedness of your government -- then this will be the most

But before I begin,
I think it is important to tell you of my credentials. They
are far from typical, and that is what makes them important.
My name is Jason Cain and I am
military veteran.
A former sergeant in the United States Marine Corps (USMC) -- and
graduate of the USMC Nuclear, Biological, Chemical (NBC)
Defense School. I am also a nationally certified police
trainer
and a former metropolitan police officer.
Now that you know the type of
real-world training and experience I have, let me start with this warning: this letter is going to be extremely
frank - as you might expect coming from someone like myself.
You will find the occasional swear word in this letter. It is
not there to offend. It is there because it is the same
language I would use when talking to a friend at a bar, over a beer.
This letter is not also not designed to cause fear, but you
need to
read the facts...
We Are Watching A Pandemic Unfold
Before Our Eyes!
I want to share with you a critical quote…
"For the first time in history
we are seeing a pandemic unfolding in front of our eyes"
Dr. Margaret CHAN, the World Health
Organization's Director-General.
Do you know why that quote is so ominous?
Not just because of the strong words used, but because of the
person saying it!
In 1997, CHAN was the Director of Health in Hong Kong, and
directed the fight against the first human outbreak of H5N1
appeared. Dr. CHAN has more experience with the bird flu (H5N1) than
any other person on earth.
Forget Bin Laden... forget global warming... forget Iran's
possession of nuclear weapons. This virus poses the greatest
threat to humanity, the world has ever seen. We are at the
doorstep of a world-changing pandemic.
FACT: This virus is mutating rapidly.
Typically each species of animal presents a new hurdle for a virus. An illness that infects ducks
and wild birds does not always infect
chickens. What infects chickens does not always infect humans. But
this virus is different. Ducks, birds, chickens, pigs, tigers,
cats, ferrets, rats and humans are all susceptible to the H5N1 Avian Flu.
As Dr. CHAN of the World Health Organization (WHO) said in a
recent interview on CBS 60 Minutes…
"…this virus causes unprecedented
spread in the animal sector. And we have never seen this in the
entire history of mankind."

She is scared.
She understands this virus. She understands its ability to mutate.
She understands how virulent it is. She understands how persistent
it is outside of a host. She understands that...
Your Government Is Not Prepared!
Now let me ask you a critical questions:
Do you really think your
government is prepared to deal with a pandemic?
You only need to look at recent history to understand the problem...
September 11th, 2001: Despite years of terror warnings and
actionable intelligence, the US Government failed to take action on Al Qaeda until 3000+ people lay dead in
rubble and wreckage.
Hurricane Katrina: US Federal, state and
local officials knew 20+ years prior to Hurricane Katrina that the
levy system surrounding New Orleans would fail - and that the
consequences would be catastrophic. And yet when 'shit hit the fan'
government was both overwhelmed and impotent.
Iraq War: Prior to the Iraq War, former UN Weapons Inspector and
fellow Marine Scott Ritter told the world that Saddam Hussein did
NOT have weapons of mass destruction. He was called a traitor by
some and ridiculed by others. And 3000+ American and British lives later, we know that he
was right.
London Tube Bombings: For decades radical Islamists
living right in the
heart of England were allowed to preach hate and violence against
the British people. Only when dozens of innocent people lost their
lives -- was needed action taken.
(If you have heard enough and understand the threat
you should start preparing now!)
Now ask yourself this question…
When a pandemic occurs, do you really think that our governments
will have their shit together - or is it going to be every man for
himself?
To give you a stark understanding of just how unprepared governments
are - and how "serious" they are taking the threat - you don't need
to look any further that US President George Bush.

On Saturday, December 10th 2005, a four hour "table-top exercise"
was conducted at some offices adjacent to the White House by twenty
US cabinet secretaries, military leaders and key government officials.
The purpose?
To plan for an Avian Flu pandemic.
"This is about being ready for what inevitably will come," Health
and Human Services Secretary Michael Leavitt said.
And where was George Bush during this exercise?
He didn't participate.
He was riding his bicycle in Maryland.
My question is: "Couldn't that bike ride wait until Sunday?"
If I were to believe Bush's Homeland Security advisor Fran Townsend
you and I have nothing to fear. After the exercise she reported:
"Quite frankly, I think we did quite well."
I don't find her comment quite comforting, because...
She was one of the idiots
responsible for the leisurely response from the US Federal government
during Hurricane Katrina!
The length of the exercise was insufficient. It was only four hours long! How much can be
simulated in four hours?!
Bush was pedaling around Maryland! Why wasn't he in
attendance? I guess his actions are par for the course... He was
recreating in Crawford, Texas during Hurricane Katrina.
You have to understand right now: during a time of pandemic or
disaster it is -- and will be -- every man for himself!
And here is the proof:
According to Bush's Homeland Security Advisor Townsend, state and local governments would have to
play the lead role in responding to a pandemic.
"This is not going to be a federal answer to the problem," she said.
"The federal government has got a support role to play."
(NOTE: This is critical to understand -- the US Federal
Government is pushing the RESPONSIBILITY of preparation off on state
and local governments! State and local governments are pushing
it off on YOU!)
The Guy With The Biggest Gun Gets The Food!
The disaster that happened along the US Gulf Coast should serve as a
wake-up call, not just to Americans, but to everyone in this
world...
LESSON: No matter how rich or powerful your country is -- your
government is not prepared to help you during a catastrophic
disaster. And a pandemic is just that -- A GLOBAL DISASTER!

disorder. (Remember the riots in France and disorder in New Orleans
during Katrina?)
They don't want to talk about the lack of governmental
preparedness, because there are elections coming up. (There
are always elections coming up.)
